The “Of Her Own” Women’s Month Exhibition First Friday Opening Reception will take place at AFA Gallery in Scranton on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the exhibition remaining on view through Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Presented in celebration of Women’s History Month, “Of Her Own” is a dynamic group exhibition featuring the work of local women and women-identifying artists. The show highlights a wide range of creative voices from across Northeastern Pennsylvania, showcasing diverse perspectives and artistic approaches.
Through painting, mixed media, and other mediums, the exhibition creates space for personal narrative, bold expression, and artistic autonomy. It honors both the legacy and evolving future of women in the arts.
The First Friday Opening Reception will include live music by Cowgirl Pills, along with refreshments and light fare. The event is free and open to the public.
