Step inside the Old Jail Museum in Jim Thorpe, PA, for Ghost Tours held every Saturday evening in October 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Guests will walk the same dark halls where prisoners once awaited their fate and hear chilling tales of unrested spirits, paranormal activity, and legends tied to the historic jail.
One of the tour’s most famous highlights is the mysterious handprint that remains visible on the wall to this day, believed to have been left by a prisoner who proclaimed his innocence before execution. Experienced guides will share spine-tingling stories of the supernatural and eerie history that lingers within the iron bars and stone walls.
Tours last approximately 30 minutes, with the first tour departing at 6:00 PM and the final tour at 9:00 PM. Admission is $15 per person, cash only, and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis—no reservations accepted. Due to the intensity of the experience, no children under 12 are permitted.
