Pocono Pirate Rafting sets sail daily at Pocono Whitewater in Jim Thorpe, PA, where families and adventurers of all ages can join a fun and splash-filled journey down the scenic Lehigh River. This unique experience runs every day from late spring through early fall, with check-in available between 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM.

Led by the mischievous Captain Jack and his spirited crew, this family-style whitewater rafting adventure features custom-designed pirate-themed rafts, built in partnership with top global raft designers. Rafters will travel an 8-mile stretch of the river, navigating mild Class I and II whitewater rapids for approximately 3 to 4 hours.

The Pocono Pirates, armed with water cannons, will sail alongside in their very own pirate ship to stage friendly “attacks” and engage in lively water battles—only if you’re up for the challenge! Guides in kayaks accompany every trip to ensure a safe and exciting experience for all.

As part of the adventure, families are treated to a FREE all-you-can-eat Riverside Barbecue Lunch, complete with grilled hot dogs, macaroni or potato salad, chips, fresh fruit, lemonade, and water—no soggy sandwiches on rocks here.

This one-of-a-kind river adventure is only available at Pocono Whitewater, making it a must-try summer highlight for kids and adults alike. Costumes and pirate enthusiasm are welcome!
