Quilts in the Barn – Salt Springs State Park, Montrose

Join the Magic Needles Quilt Club for Quilts in the Barn at Salt Springs State Park in Montrose on Saturday, June 28, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Held in the park’s historic dairy barn, this special exhibition features a vibrant collection of handmade quilts, including wall hangings, bed quilts, and creative challenge pieces from the club’s members.

Guests are invited to vote for their favorite quilts and sign the Friends of Salt Springs Park community quilt. Raffle tickets will also be available for the beautiful “Greens in the Glen” queen-size quilt, crafted and donated by club members Donna Kletsko and Sandra Rinker. Proceeds benefit the park, and raffle tickets will be sold on the day of the event at $3 each, 2 for $5, or 5 for $10. The winner does not need to be present to claim the prize.

The Magic Needles Quilt Club welcomes all skill levels and meets monthly at the Montrose Library.
