Countryside Conservancy is partnering with Factoryville Public Library to host a book reading on the Meadowsweet Preserve. This event is geared more toward  younger community members but they encourage all members to join. Parents must stay with their children.

This reading will be held on Saturday, April 19th starting at 10:30am. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. They will read a story that pertains to nature and then have an activity for the kids to take with them.

Meadowsweet Preserve is located off Lily Lake Rd in Dalton. You will hike a short trail up to a clearing. If you are unable to hike the trail, they have a parking area next to the clearing.

Countryside Conservancy is a local non-profit land trust dedicated to protecting the beautiful lands and waters of our region and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization. To date, the Conservancy has preserved nearly 2,500 acres and have built 15+ miles of trails that are open to the public for recreational purposes, creating an opportunity for our community to enjoy the outdoors and promote health and wellness.
