Join Bloomsburg University biology professor emeritus George Chamuris for a fascinating slide lecture, Remarkable Native Wildflowers of Northeastern PA, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 7:00 PM at The Exchange Gallery, 24 East Main Street, Bloomsburg.

With more than 30 years of experience studying the plants of the region, Professor Chamuris will guide attendees through an engaging visual tour of the diverse and beautiful native wildflowers found in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The presentation will highlight unique species, their habitats, and their importance to the local ecosystem.

The lecture will last about an hour and is open to all ages, free of charge. A $10 donation per person is suggested to support The Exchange’s community programming. Professor Chamuris will also take time to answer audience questions following the presentation.
