Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer JR – an SCC Youth Theatre Program Production at the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple in Scranton will be performed on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 7:00 PM and Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM, bringing the beloved animated holiday classic to the stage in a 60-minute Broadway Junior musical. Featuring young performers in grades 5–8, this family-friendly production showcases local students in a timeless story about celebrating what makes each of us unique.

The show follows Rudolph, Hermey the Elf, Santa and Mrs. Claus, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, and more as they journey from misfit status to holiday heroes. Filled with favorite songs like “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “A Holly Jolly Christmas,” the musical captures the warmth, humor, and heart of the original television special while sharing a message that what makes you different can be what makes you special.

Performances take place in Shopland Hall on the fourth floor of the Scranton Cultural Center. Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 on the day of the show, with general admission seating. The production is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International, with all authorized performance materials supplied by MTIShows.com.
