The Lackawanna Historical Society is bringing back its popular Places of Worship church tour, highlighting six communities of faith in Carbondale on Saturday, August 24. In conjunction with the tour, they’re excited to feature a Sacred Sounds event on Thursday, August 22 at Constantino’s, featuring musical performances from five ethnic church communities, including Black, Latinx, Ukrainian, Welsh, and Indonesian. Join them to learn more about Lackawanna County’s diverse history, architecture, and people!
