Learn how to hike safely, ethically, and responsibly. Hear about Leave No Trace principles. Find out how to volunteer on trails as well as how social media and increased trekking have impacted our ecosystems.

Each month, the Pike/Wayne Conservation Partnership will host a speaker on a different science topic at a local brewery or restaurant for an informal public presentation and discussion.

June’s topic is Avoiding Bears & Meeting Bigfoot- Responsible Hiking While Having Fun, featuring Dr. Bryan Burnham, Trailhead Steward and Member of Catskills (NY) 3500 Club.

This is a free-to-attend discussion, no registration necessary. All are welcome to purchase food and drinks from the venue individually.
