Want to learn how swamps and other wetlands save communities millions of dollars? Do you know the difference between a swamp, a marsh, and a bog? Each month, the Pike/Wayne Conservation Partnership hosts a speaker on a different science topic at a local brewery or restaurant for an informal public presentation and discussion. September’s topic is “Swampy Science.” This program will feature Pike County Conservation District staff with knowledge about wetlands. This is a free-to-attend discussion, no registration necessary. All are welcome to purchase food and drinks from the venue individually.
