On Saturday, May 17, 2025, the Scott Laird Scholarship Team will host a special 5K Walk/Run fundraiser in memory of Major Scott Laird, Bronze Star recipient, and Lackawanna Trail alumni.

100% of the proceeds from this 5K will be donated to the scholarship in Scott’s honor. This scholarship aids future heroes in the community as they realize their own dreams, whether that be through military service, higher education or a variety of honorable paths.
