The Osterhout Free Library in Wilkes-Barre, PA invites families and friends to S’mores & Screen: Movie Night on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Guests can get comfortable in the library’s Reading Room to enjoy the beloved film The Princess Bride (Rated PG).
Attendees are encouraged to wear cozy clothes and bring a pillow or blanket for extra comfort. To make the evening sweeter, gooey s’mores will be served during the movie. This event is free and open to all ages.

We recently visited the Central Branch of the Osterhout Free Library in Wilkes-Barre. As a member of the Luzerne County Library System, the Osterhout offers free library cards to all Luzerne County residents, providing access to a fantastic assortment of books, programs, CDs, movies, video games and so much more! Keep an eye out for special events like Teen Night and their Annual Book Sale.
