Join the Soaring Eagles 5K Walk/Run at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre, PA on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 9:00 AM and help support local Eagle Scouts on their path to higher education. Proceeds benefit the Brian H. Swatt Memorial Eagle Scout Scholarship, awarded annually by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Council, Boy Scouts of America to two outstanding Eagle Scouts.
The scholarship honors Brian H. Swatt, a Class of 2017 Eagle Scout remembered for his leadership, mentorship, and dedication to the Scout Oath and Law. Though his life was tragically cut short, his legacy continues through this meaningful event and scholarship fund.
Runners, walkers, Scouts, and community members alike are encouraged to participate and make a difference while celebrating Scouting’s spirit of service and perseverance.
