Spring Into Gardening Workshop takes place at the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Bell Center for Technology in Dallas on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 9:30 AM, offering a full day of hands-on learning for home gardeners along with a community plant sale.
Led by Penn State Master Gardeners, this practical workshop helps participants build confidence for the growing season with guidance that can be applied immediately at home. Attendees will learn how to select the right plants for their specific site conditions, manage trees and shrubs in the home landscape, and plan a productive vegetable garden.
Additional sessions explore rain barrels for home gardens and strategies for using and preserving harvests once the season is underway. A Master Gardener Q&A roundtable is also included, giving participants a chance to ask questions and troubleshoot challenges with experienced local experts.
