Stream Keepers | Carlton Drake Memorial Park, Newfoundland, PA

The Stream Keepers program will be held at Carlton Drake Memorial Park in Newfoundland, PA on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This free, hands-on event is designed for youth ages 11–14 and their chaperones to explore stream health through interactive activities.

Participants will learn about the local ecosystem with activities such as macroinvertebrate surveying, fly tying, and fly casting. All youth will receive an activity/reflection journal and use of provided stream equipment. Lunch will be provided free of charge during the midday break.

Space is limited, and registration is required.

This program is presented by the Pike County Conservation District, Wayne Conservation District, and Trout Unlimited.
