The Stroudsburg Tree Lighting at Courthouse Square in Stroudsburg will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, offering a free community celebration to kick off the holiday season. A 10-piece brass and percussion band will provide festive music as guests gather in the square.
The evening features remarks from elected officials and the Monroe County poet laureate, along with photo opportunities with the Grinch and a beloved winter princess. If all goes well at the North Pole, Santa is expected to arrive at 6:00 PM, with the official countdown and tree lighting at 6:30 PM.
Eventgoers are encouraged to dine and shop in downtown Stroudsburg before and after the celebration and to return on Saturday for Small Business Saturday. Metered parking in the borough is free from Thanksgiving through Sunday, November 30.
