The Glenn Miller Orchestra comes to the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 7:00 PM, bringing big band favorites and timeless swing classics back to the stage.

Audiences will hear the world-famous Glenn Miller sound on hits like “In the Mood,” “Moonlight Serenade,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “Pennsylvania 6-5000,” “String of Pearls,” and “Tuxedo Junction.” More than 18 musicians and singers perform live, keeping Glenn Miller’s legendary arrangements vibrant more than 80 years after the orchestra was founded.

Perfect for jazz and swing fans, as well as incurable romantics, this concert invites guests to step back into the dance-band era of the 1930s and 1940s, when Glenn Miller was one of the most successful bandleaders in the world. It is a nostalgic night of brass, rhythm, and romance not to be missed.
