“The Nutcracker” presented by Ballet Theatre of Scranton at The Theater at North in Scranton will be performed Friday through Sunday, November 28–30, 2025, with shows each day at 12:00 PM and 5:30 PM to kick off the holiday season. Now in its 50th year, this beloved production continues a long-standing tradition of offering free performances as a gift to the community.
Audiences will experience Tchaikovsky’s classic holiday ballet brought to life by over 100 local dancers, ranging in age from 9 to adult. From the growing Christmas tree and swirling snowflakes to the Land of Sweets, the performance showcases colorful costumes, timeless choreography, and the excitement of a fully staged production.
Tickets to “The Nutcracker” are free and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. As part of Ballet Theatre of Scranton’s 50-year tradition, tickets can be picked up at The Theater at North box office beginning two hours before each specific performance time. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seats.
