The Montrose Area Adult School is offering a Tree ID class taught by retired forester and Penn State Extension Master Gardener Jim Kessler on Tuesday, September 10, at 6:00 p.m. This hands-on class is designed to help attendees identify common trees and shrubs in Susquehanna County. Participants will use stems, twigs, tree shapes, and habitat to identify 20-30 trees. Bring a tree book; several will also be available for use.
