Come celebrate the magic of the season and support local businesses at the White Haven Hometown Holidays Festival! This festive community event offers a full day of holiday activities for all ages, bringing friends, family, and neighbors together in the heart of White Haven. Enjoy fun activities, delightful decorations, and a chance to experience the warmth and charm of our small-town holiday spirit.

Activities & Highlights:

🎅 Breakfast Buffet with Mrs. Claus and Her Elves
Kick off your morning with a magical breakfast! Enjoy a cozy buffet with Mrs. Claus and her elves from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Soapy Bee (243 Main St). Reservations are required—call ahead to save your spot.

🦌 Live Reindeer Display
Meet real reindeer at 217 Main Street! This free educational display is perfect for families to learn about these enchanting animals and capture holiday photos.

📸 Professional Photos with Santa
From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, bring your kids and pets to The Soapy Bee (243 Main St) for professional photos with Santa. These photos are sure to become cherished keepsakes. (Note: Photos are not free.)

🚂 The Searfoss Family Model Train Display
Check out a delightful model train display at the Borough Building, 312 Main Street, running on both Friday, November 29, and Saturday, November 30, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

🎄 Elf Parade
Dress up as Santa’s elves and join the Elf Parade, sponsored by The Soapy Bee and Tavern on the Trail! Meet by 12:45 PM (parade at 1:00 pm) at Tavern on the Trail (520 Main St) to register. Prizes will be awarded for categories like cutest, ugliest, funniest, and best pet costume. All are welcome, including well-behaved pets! The parade will conclude at the Library’s Rail Yard Park, where the White Haven Library will host free children’s activities.

🛍️ Shop Local! Bingo Card Raffle
Support local businesses with an interactive Shop Local Bingo! Pick up your bingo card at The Soapy Bee and visit participating businesses from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM to score a bingo and enter the drawing. Return completed cards by 3:45 PM for a live drawing at 4:00 PM. (No need to be present to win—two prize baskets will be awarded!)

🎁 Swag Bags for Early Birds
The first 35 visitors a spot to be determined at 10:00 AM will receive a festive swag bag filled with goodies, coupons, and gifts from local businesses! (Limit one bag per family.)

🌟 Community Tree Lightings
End the day with special community tree lightings:
5:30 PM: First tree lighting at the White Haven Fire House.
6:00 PM: Santa leads a parade down to the Caboose for the main community tree lighting. Enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and ice cream sandwiches courtesy of Woods Ice Cream as they light up the tree together.

Ornament Sponsorship: Sponsor an ornament for the community tree! Each sponsorship is $25. Email WHChamberevents@gmail.com by November 20th to reserve your spot. *please note they will not contact you through facebook for money.

Want to be a vendor? Please email WHChamberEvents@gmail.com for an application. They only ask for a donation to the raffle drawing.
