The Wilkes-Barre POWER January Networking Event takes place at The Anthracite Cafe in Wilkes-Barre on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. This month’s featured organization is the Riverfront Parks Committee.
Wilkes-Barre Riverfront Parks includes three historic parks along the Susquehanna River—River Common, Nesbitt Park, and the Kirby Park Natural Area—highlighting green space, recreation, and community on the waterfront.
Guest speaker Rachael Stark from the Riverfront Parks Committee will share insights, and board speaker Sarah Evans, Director of Outreach & Event Planning for Wilkes-Barre POWER, will also be featured. Media sponsors for the event include Times Leader Media Group and Discover NEPA.
Anthracite Cafe will provide light fare, and a cash bar will be available. Admission is free for members and $10 for non-members, with business casual attire encouraged.
