William Prescott Elementary is excited to announce their 1st annual end of year fundraiser, a student Art Show. The art show will be taking place as part of Scranton’s First Friday, Friday June 7th 5-8pm at The Shakes Space, located on the 1st floor of The Marketplace at Steamtown.

Each Prescott student (grades k-4) will have a piece of art hung in this show. The theme of the show is “Peace” and they are working in conjunction with The Hexagon Project.

There will be raffle baskets, a bake sale, 50/50 as well as live music.

They are thrilled to be having the show at The Shakes Space in The Marketplace at Steamtown, as it is centrally located for 1st Friday, accessible to all, and has easy parking. They hope to inspire Prescott students, family and friends that all kids are artists and deserve to be celebrated. They think having a show open to the community can inspire confidence, value, and individuality.

They hope to make this a wonderful event with the support of the local community.
