The Winter Survival Workshop – Ages 8–12 at Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center in Stroudsburg on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM invites young adventurers to learn how to stay safe and comfortable outdoors in cold-weather conditions. This hands-on program is designed to help kids build practical survival skills while spending meaningful time outside.

Participants will practice safely building a fire, creating a simple natural shelter, and learning how to mark trails and find their way in the woods. Guided by environmental educators, children will work together, problem-solve, and gain confidence exploring the winter landscape.

This program is designed specifically for children ages 8–12, and adults are required to stay for the entire duration of the workshop. The cost is $5 per child.
