Festive Finds and Local Charm: Inside the First Annual Holiday Market at Lace Village
We stopped by the first annual Holiday Market at Scranton’s Lace Village. Held on December 14 and 15, this 2-day event was a festive celebration of local businesses and community spirit. Featuring over 30 local businesses and organizations, the industrial venue space was flooded with unique crafts, antiques, artwork, delicious treats, photos with Santa and more.
From wineries, cideries, bakeries and pastries shops to handmade jewelry, festive clothing, artisan soaps and local farm animals– this charming market had it all. There was even a tent selling wood from the original Scranton Lace Company factory buildings that has been repurposed into coat hangers, candle holders, cutting boards, and more.
Known for hosting community events throughout the year, Lace Village continues to bring people together in a space that beautifully blends Scranton’s historic charm with contemporary purpose.
