The legacy of Irish rock band U2 is full of highlights, but none shine quite as brightly as their 1987 album, “The Joshua Tree.” It won four Grammy awards, including Album of the Year, and is one of the highest-selling albums of all time. The record is even preserved as a culturally significant piece of art by the United States Library of Congress.
During this event, the musicians of Classic Albums Live will perform “The Joshua Tree” for U2 fans to experience live. This is more than a tribute—Classic Albums Live treats each recording like the historic composition it is, performing it as if it were a piece by Bach or Mozart.
