Harmony In The Woods: Music, Community & Magic
Nestled in the forest of Hawley, Pennsylvania, Harmony In The Woods is more than an outdoor stage – it is a fulcrum for joy, rooted in sound, soil and shared experience.
Harmony’s story began when two change-makers—a young artist and a local businessman—joined forces in Hawley. Together, they launched a weekend concert series at the historic Hawley Silk Mill. Their mission was simple, yet bold: to enlighten, entertain, and engage. Each weekend, they brought in artists with unique sounds and compelling stories, featuring both rising talents and regional favorites. The founders believed in dreaming bigger and were driven by their belief in the power of live music and the cultural tapestry they were weaving.
In 2019, that vision bloomed anew when Harmony In The Woods relocated to a stunning outdoor setting—its now-iconic “home in the woods.” Under a canopy of leaves and stars, it transformed into a seasonal sanctuary of sound. Since then, it’s been a place to “lose your mind and find your sound,” as Creative Director Jill Carletti puts it.
Fast forward five summers, and Harmony In The Woods is preparing to celebrate its fifth annual season in the forest—an astonishing achievement for a grassroots arts experiment born of ambition and community love.
This year’s season runs from July 4 through August 30, with 19 concerts spanning blues, rock, folk, jazz, bluegrass, world, classical, Broadway revues, and tribute shows.
