Rockin' the Mountain Kicks Off in Hazleton with High Energy and Classic Hits
On Friday, we headed down to Hazleton for the first of three free concerts in the Rockin’ the Mountain series at City View Park. The concert series is hosted by the City of Hazleton, Hazleton Parks and Recreation and Visit Luzerne County.
The opening act, Six Shots, played a variety of classic rock hits, setting the mood for a fun night. Philadelphia Freedom, a local Elton John tribute band, then took to the stage making everyone wonder if they were actually witnessing the real thing. Their energy was great, the sound was spot on, and the crowd was loving every minute of it.
Rockin’ the Mountain will continue on June 28 and July 5th. If you’d like to learn more about the series, including a full list of performances at both events, be sure to check out our events calendar.
We had a great time Rockin’ the Mountain and know you will too! See below for some highlights of last weekend’s show!
