Hammered Steel Tavern is a laidback bar and restaurant at the crossroads of Route 390 and Gumbletown Road. Located just ten minutes from Lake Wallenpaupack, this tavern serves a mix of classic American cuisine and creative dishes.

Everything’s made from scratch at Hammered Steel. The menu offers plenty of appetizers to pair with a drink, as well as sandwiches, burgers, and salads. For dinner, they feature an excellent selection of steaks, seafood, pasta, and more. A kids’ menu is available.

Stop in for a beer and stick around for some fun. Hammered Steel often hosts live music nights, and the pool table is always ready for a round.

Seating is available in the dining room, at the bar, and outside, weather permitting.

Start off with an app like the cheesy Yuengling beer fondue or an order of deep-fried wings. The Hammered Steel Burger goes great with a beer, featuring a pork and beef blend topped with candied bacon, Swiss cheese, Asian slaw, tomato, and onion. For dinner, try entrees like the pan-seared Colbert filet mignon medallions or the breaded fish and chips.
