Brisk Hiking in Tamaqua

Take a quick, scenic hike on the Lehigh and New England Trail. This 3-mile Tamaqua path runs along the former Lehigh and New England Railroad corridor. Covered in crushed stone, it is perfect for biking, running, and even walking pets. In snowy conditions, it can also be a great spot for cross-country skiing. The trail makes a great warm-up for the nearby Schuylkill Valley Heritage Trail, which is a bit more challenging. No matter your reason for hiking it, the Lehigh and New England Trail is the perfect, peaceful spot.
