The Deer Head Inn in Delaware Water Gap is a historic bed and breakfast and the oldest continuously running jazz club in the country. Since the 19th century, this landmark has welcomed travelers and music lovers to the scenic village of Delaware Water Gap, where live jazz, fine dining, and classic hospitality come together in perfect harmony.

Historic Lodging & Fine Dining

The inn offers ten beautifully appointed guestrooms and two elegant suites, each with private baths and timeless décor. Guests can unwind on the wraparound porch, enjoy a meal in the intimate dining room, or relax after a night of exceptional live music. Dinner is served Thursday through Sunday and select Mondays, featuring a menu of refined comfort food such as steaks, salmon, burgers, and cheesesteaks. Local brews, fine wines, and craft cocktails round out the experience, creating an inviting dining destination for guests and visitors alike.

A Legacy of Live Jazz

Music is at the soul of the Deer Head Inn. The venue has hosted jazz legends including Phil Woods, Keith Jarrett, and Al Cohn, alongside emerging artists and local talent. Regular performances take place from Wednesday through Sunday, with open jazz jams every Thursday that keep the genre’s spirit alive.
