Earlier this month we visited Nescopeck State Park in Drums, PA. The park is a treat for nature enthusiasts of all ages.

The Nature Discovery Area is certainly a hit with kids, providing them a safe environment to get a little dirty while still getting in touch with nature. The butterfly garden’s vibrant colors were full of life making it the perfect place to snap a few photos.

Park visitors were enjoying the lake, which is perfect for fishing, kayaking, or simply taking a stroll to spot wildlife. We also stopped in their environmental education center which offers engaging programs year-round. They even provide fun adventure backpacks packed with supplies to make your visit just a little more enjoyable.
