Summer in Northeastern Pennsylvania offers endless excitement. From fairs and festivals to waterparks and amusement parks, there’s always something happening to keep us busy all season long. Finding time to rest can be a challenge—but who’s complaining?
Yet, in the mountains, it’s a different world entirely. Nature is constant, and it’s always there when we need a break. In NEPA, nature is our reliable escape. With 18 state parks and thousands of acres of state forests and nature preserves, there’s always something wild and wonderful to discover.
So, take the opportunity to get outside, soak up the last bit of summer, and celebrate all that nature in NEPA has to offer.
