Classic Ways to Enjoy Summer in NEPA Like a Kid Again

Let’s face it, we’re always ready for some of that old-fashioned, classic NEPA summer fun. And maybe that means checking out new ice cream spots, hitting a summer festival, spending a Saturday at Knoebels Amusement Resort or catching a movie at the drive-in.

Of course, it wouldn’t be summer in NEPA without a little quality time spent in the great outdoors. We’ve got miles and miles of hiking trails, 18 amazing state parks, bass fishing on the Susquehanna River, whitewater rafting on the Lehigh River, guided kayaking trips and plenty more to explore.

And, when the sun sets, the fun only just begins. Get together with friends for a sunset dinner on the patio. Create your own local brewery crawl. Or plan a weekend camping under the stars. When it comes to creating that classic NEPA summer, we’ve got it covered.
