The Senator James J. Rhoades Nature Trail is a go-to spot for hikers and bikers in Barry Township. It is named after the late Sen. James J. Rhoades, a supporter of many environmental projects. The trail has beautiful natural scenery. It is an ideal location for a pleasant walk or a brisk bike ride. On the other side of Bolich Road, you can find the Bolich Wetlands Project, a charming nature preserve. It is a 1.5 acre wetland treatment area and a perfect spot for wildlife sightings.
