75 Degrees West – Dallas, PA

“The Intersection of Brand Marketing & Business Results.”

75 Degrees West is a full-service digital advertising agency that provides website design and branding solutions, Google paid ads, social media, search engine optimization, and e-mail marketing. They excel at generating qualified leads or sales for their client’s utilizing a combination of the tools listed above.

The company was founded and is now owned by Matthew Bradley, and was originally named M.B. Digital Advertising. In early 2019 Bradley rebranded the company as 75 Degrees West. The new direction allowed him to freshen up the brand and in the same token pay homage to where they live, work, and play – Dallas, PA.

Matthew says that what makes them stand out in their industry is that they “take their time to educate clients in a medium that isn’t as prevalent as traditional media.” They take the time to learn about a potential client’s business and discuss the challenges they’re facing. From there, they put together a customized proposal that meets their specific needs.

15 Year Digital Marketer & Advertising Professional Experience

While he was in college, Matthew says that he was “destined to earn a degree in business.” His post-graduation goal was to earn his way to become the head of his family’s technology logistics business in Kingston, PA. Unfortunately, like anything with life, he was thrown a curveball and had to strike out on his own.

During his time at college, there were no digital marketing classes offered. Job titles such as social media manager, digital marketing specialist, etc. – were non-existent. There seemed to be an intimidating gap between what was available to learn via classrooms and what he had to learn on his own. For instance, there weren’t specific classes that taught Google Ads, Facebook advertising, or even internet marketing in general. As a result, one of the challenges that Matthew describes dealing with was understanding what specific skills companies were looking for when it came to effective digital marketing – assuming even they knew what they were looking for. Matthew stepped into the corporate spotlight immediately following graduation by working for PepperJam, an internet marketing company based in downtown Wilkes-Barre. Fast forward years later and multiple promotions along the way, Matthew says “I got tired of building someone else’s dreams, so I started my own digital ad agency.”

Client and Community Focused Projects

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bradley leveraged his business and marketing skills to assist other business owners in the community. In September 2020, when business was slow and there was a lot of uncertainty locally and globally, Matthew wanted to find a way to utilize his skillset to help small business owners such as himself, especially during a time when most businesses were forced to close their doors or were operating under very strict guidelines.

He decided to build Shop Local 570, a digital gift card marketplace which was created to give small business owners the technology to sell gift cards online. One of the benefits for local businesses is that they could use the free platform as another resource to make ends meet and preserve the livelihood of the community during COVID-19.
