Since 2016, this artistically-inspired nonprofit organization in Clarks Summit has brought the life-changing power of music to local children. Making Music Matter for Kids creates, supports and promotes music programs, classes and events for low-income and disadvantaged children in NEPA. Since its founding, the organization has embarked on a mission of making music available to all children. Music is based on passion, not income, and lessons are free for qualified families.

The K-12 program offers affordable music education, encourages social interaction and awareness and builds character. Through teamwork and expert leadership, the organization’s board and staff create unforgettable learning experiences for their students.
