Mission Statement

Red Creek Wildlife Center offers a second chance to distressed Pennsylvania wildlife through rescue and rehabilitation, public education and by providing training for wildlife rehabilitators.

Red Creek Wildlife Center | Rescue, rehab & release in Schuylkill Haven

Red Creek Wildlife Center in Schuylkill Haven, PA is a nonprofit organization committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured, orphaned, and sick wildlife. Guided by the belief that every creature—no matter how small or common—deserves a second chance, the center admits over 3,600 animals each year with the goal of returning them to their natural habitats.

Saving Wildlife, One Animal at a Time

Red Creek Wildlife Center provides expert medical care and safe recovery environments for birds, mammals, and reptiles native to Pennsylvania. Each animal receives individualized attention and treatment, with the ultimate goal of returning it to the wild once healed and ready.

Sharing Knowledge Through Education

Education is a central part of the center’s mission. Red Creek offers live raptor and wildlife presentations to schools and organizations, helping the public understand the value of wildlife conservation. They also provide professional wildlife rehabilitator training to those interested in joining the field.

Powered by Community Support

The organization operates entirely on donations. Every contribution supports their mission to save lives, educate the public, and protect Pennsylvania’s wildlife.

Red Creek Wildlife Center continues to give animals a second chance while inspiring respect and care for the natural world in Schuylkill Haven.
