Valley Santa | Nonprofit delivering holiday joy & gifts to children in Wilkes-Barre

Valley Santa is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Wilkes-Barre that has been bringing holiday cheer to children in need throughout Luzerne County since 1984. Completely volunteer-run and community-funded, Valley Santa celebrates over 40 years of compassionate service, spreading joy through gift-giving during the holiday season. From November through December, the organization rallies local support to ensure every child experiences the magic of the holidays, no matter their family’s circumstances.

Serving Children With Dignity & Care

Valley Santa provides toys for children from birth through age twelve, offering assistance to families celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa. Families in need may submit requests through letters co-signed by a clergy member or social worker and mailed to Valley Santa’s PO Box, or by calling Help Line at 211. Each letter is reviewed by volunteers who then shop for, wrap and package presents personalized to each child’s wishes—bringing warmth and hope to homes throughout the region.
