Mission Statement

Weatherly Area Community Library is a 501-C-3 organization that is a center for life-long learning, with books, tapes, magazines, computer access and programs for all ages.

The Weatherly Area Community Library was founded in 1993 as a free service for Weatherly and the townships around it. The library is a community-centered resource for life-long learning. They offer books for children, teens and adults; books on tape; reference materials and computer access.

Since it was first established, the library has functioned as the same center of knowledge and community, but expanded in 2014 to better serve the area’s needs. In addition to books and computer services, the library also holds a variety of programs for all ages.

The library fosters children’s sense of curiosity, creativity and adventure with summer reading programs, crafts, storytime and other seasonal events. And there are tons of ways for adults to get involved with their library as well.

This community library also holds book clubs, informational lectures, fundraisers and trips year-round.
