Mission Statement

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program provides Christmas gifts to less fortunate children so they can experience the joy of finding a present under the tree. NEPA’s local chapter of Toys for Tots distributes over 37,000 toys each year and brings hope to over 14,000 children every holiday season.

NEPA is one of 792 communities across the nation that participates in Toys for Tots. The local chapter serves Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga and Wyoming counties. When you donate a toy, it stays right here in the area and benefits a local child in need.

There are several ways to get involved with Toys for Tots. The most popular way is to purchase a new, unwrapped toy and bring it to an official drop-off location during the holiday season. People can also send monetary donations or volunteer to collect and distribute toys.
