Here’s a great getaway for the whole family.

Take a short hop to one of the top aquariums in the Northeast – Adventure Aquarium in Camden, N.J., where you’ll see exhibits featuring more than 15,000 aquatic species throughout 2 million gallons of water.

The aquarium is home to the largest collection of sharks in the Northeast and the only aquarium in the world to exhibit hippos, and one of six facilities in the nation where Little Blue Penguins make their home. Take a rickety stroll across the unique, V-shaped rope suspension bridge, just inches over Shark Realm.

You’ll be on your own from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with time to grab lunch at The Marketplace; you’ll receive a voucher for one entrée which includes a main selection and a beverage.

Other attractions include a 3-D movie, a KidZone play area and touch exhibits.

This is a timed entry (11 a.m.) so no need to worry about overcrowding.
