Join us on Saturday April 12th from 9AM-12PM for our free and family-friendly Earth Day Celebration. Volunteers will assist the refuge staff in planting over 200 trees and shrubs along the Cherry Creek, sprucing up our hiking trails, removing invasive plants, and taking part in fun and educational activities. Please dress in clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty and please bring a pair of gloves if you have them. Pastries and coffee will be provided in the morning and pizza and light refreshments will be provided for lunch. The event will be held at the Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters located at 2138 Croasdale Road, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Service animals are welcome on the refuge, but pets are not allowed.
