SPRING INTO GARDENING
Registration is Open

Penn State Master Gardeners of Luzerne County will host their annual Spring into Gardening event at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, April 27, 9:30 a.m-1:30 p.m.

Keynote speaker and Kevin Kelly will share his expertise and experience creating an award-winning suburban garden and diverse habitat for wildlife. Breakout sessions will include how to make a landscape more sustainable, growing vegetables in small spaces, vermicompost, garden tasks in the spring landscape, growing herbs, and creating a pollinator garden.

A plant sale and garden flea market will be operating all day, and Master Gardeners will be available at the information table to help with personal gardening questions.

The registration fee is $25. Registration deadline is April 24. Walk ins are accepted if there is seating available.
