On the weekend of April 12th-14th, The Waverly Community House will once again host the Annual Northeast Pennsylvania Film Festival, now in its 7th year.

The Northeast Pennsylvania Film Festival is a three day event at The Waverly Community House dedicated to promoting emerging and independent filmmakers from Northeast Pennsylvania and around the world. By exposing local audiences to unique and original cinema, the event promotes cultural awareness and appreciation of film as an art form.

There is an Opening Night Party on Friday beginning at 6PM. The featured guest speaker will be Doug Claybourne, award winning producer of many films including Apocalypse Now and The Fast and the Furious. Open bar (wine & beer), food, guest speaker, and a brief feature film. Tickets will be $65 per person.

Saturday and Sunday offer a full schedule of films and workshops (offered by event partner WVIA). Tickets are $20 per person for a day pass.

An All Inclusive Weekend Ticket for opening night, Saturday and Sunday is $90.
