Volunteer with the Delaware Highlands Conservancy as they partner with Wayne County Conservation District to plant trees for the Keystone 10 Million Trees project at the Van Scott Nature Reserve. Join them on May 11 or May 18 and together they will plant a total of 850 trees! While you are volunteering you will learn how to plant trees as well as the important reasons they are being planted. 15 volunteers are requested for each day.
Be prepared to walk at least a half mile on sloped terrain each day for the planting. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothing you are ready to get dirty. Work gloves will be provided. Please pack a lunch.

We captured the fall color at the Van Scott Nature Reserve in Beach Lake! The property boasts over three miles of trails that are open to the public and is also the headquarters of the Delaware Highlands Conservancy.
