Take a Trot Through the Snow

When the temperature drops, the fun begins at Arctic Paws Dog Sled Tours in the Pocono Mountains. They offer scenic winter tours at Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort.

Meet the friendly team of huskies and hop on the sled. There are two ways to travel at Arctic Paws: standing on the back of the sled as the musher or riding in the basket. Your tour guide will teach you how to mush and drive the sled down the snow-covered trails. If it’s not snowing, the dogs will take you on a trail ride through the woods. And afterwards, you’ll have to reward the team with some well-earned belly rubs.

All guests must be at least 10 years old. Arctic Paws is open Saturdays and Sundays from December through February.
