For more than 60 years, the Ballet Theatre of Scranton has brought big-city productions to NEPA’s stages. Each holiday season, the community flocks to watch the company’s free performance of The Nutcracker. The group also performs full-length ballets each spring and dances at local festivals like Scranton’s La Festa Italiana.

The Ballet Theatre of Scranton also runs a dance studio and offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and modern dance. Children as young as two years of age can participate in the Tiny Tots program, and students of all ages and skill levels perform in shows and events throughout the year.
