Covington Park off of Sanko Road in Moscow is one of Lackawanna County’s more recent revitalization projects. The park serves as a welcoming green space for the community.

It is home to two baseball fields, a soccer field, a brand-new basketball court and a modern playground. Park visitors are also welcome to swim and sunbathe at the guarded sandy beach area on the park’s 9-acre lake. They can also take a stroll through the woods on the new lake trail.

Covington Park also features ample parking and a covered pavilion with tables can be rented for a small fee.
