A Semi-Secret Natural Space in the City
Embrace nature at Wilkes University’s Grayson Arboretum. Located right next to Wilkes’ Bluestone Labyrinth, the botanical garden runs from South Street all the way though campus.
Since the arboretum opened in 2001, it has served as a campus park, where students have a quiet place to study and explore. Students and the public alike can come and see over 450 species of trees and shrubs. Some of these species are unique to the area, so the Grayson Arboretum is one of only a few places you can find them.
