A Community Green Space
Hillside Park in South Abington Township is an outdoor destination for all ages. The 100-acre park offers a playground, picnic areas, pavilion and community garden. The park’s peaceful lake is open to the public for fishing and includes two ADA accessible fishing piers.
The athletic fields at Hillside Park host local youth sports leagues like the Abington Girls Softball League and the Abington Junior Comets Football League.
Hillside Park is also home to the Abington Dog Park. This off-leash dog park has separate, fenced-in areas for large and small dogs. Parking is available at 1610 West Grove Street.
Hillside Park is a hub for community events, including their weekly farmers’ market in the summer.

We enjoyed a beautiful day at Hillside Park in South Abington Township! As one of the Abington’s premier community green spaces, the park has 100 acres filled with trails, playing fields, a lake, dog park, and a community garden.
